Directions

The reserve is situated in the centre of the town of Knysna, Western Cape, South Africa. The reserve turnoff is accessible on Main Road which adjoins the N2 major highway. The turn-off to the Reserve is clearly marked with signage on the Main Road.

Once you have tuned onto the cobblestone road, pass the Steers on your left, and continue straight for about 120m to the large Oyster Walk apartment block. You can park here or further back. The reserve entrance is situated between the two main building structures of the apartment block and is made visible by large signage and a black metal gate.

Entry permits are available at The Foundation, the Knysna SuperSpar situated in the Knysna Mall Shopping Centre across the road from the turnoff to the reserve, or Visit Knysna on the N2, 50m towards Plettenberg Bay from the reserve turnoff.
