Pledge Nature Reserve relies, to an extent, on voluntary efforts, grants and donations for its management and upkeep. The Reserve is a registered Non-profit Organisation (NPO Number: 022-735 NPO) as per the Non-profit Organisations Act, 1997 (Act 71 of 1997). Additionally, the Reserve is an approved public benefit organisation in terms of section 18A of the Income Tax Act, 1962 and can thus offer a section 18A tax receipt which may entitle donors to a deduction from taxable income.

Another way to help is to join our MyPlanet network and add us as a beneficiary on your card where we have over 70 supporters who contribute. Registration for a MyPlanet account can be completed on www.myschool.co.za where the Reserve is listed as Pledge Nature Reserve. Your contribution to conservation of our natural heritage would mean the world! If you send through a donation via electronic funds transfer (EFT) or debit-order, please make sure to contact us to receive an 18A tax receipt.
